SSC exams rating pattern which is currently followed by Telangana government is causing a huge pain & injustice for the students who appear as well as their parents & school management.
If the student secure 10 out of 10 GPA in 5 subjects and gets 9 out of 10 in one subject they will secure 9.8 GPA. The main misleading thing here is
1)Suppose a student gets 100 out of 100 in 5 subjects and gets 91 in one subject, he will get the rating as 9.8.
2) If a student gets 92 out of 100 in all the 6 subjects, he gets 10 GPA.
If we see the total marks secured by the student in the first instance, he got 591 out of 600 and in the second case, the student got 588 out of 600 and being rated as 10 GPA.
A big injustice is being done for the students because of this pattern which needs to corrected immediately.
Resolution:
The total number of marks have to be considered and based on the percentage secured( ex: those who gets above 92% in total marks should be given 10 gpa and marks shouldn't be disclosed)
